We are also carrying out further research projects in collaboration with the below partners.
As part of the NESTA Digital Innovation Fund for the Arts in Wales, ArtWorks Cymru are collaborating with Artis Community to explore digital solutions to quantifying the social impact of participatory arts.
Find out more and read an interview with project manager Richie Turner on the Digital Innovation Fund website.
ArtWorks Cymru worked with Cognis to undertake further research as part of our 2015 - 2017 programme. In July 2015 and July 2016 they led Research Charettes exploring key issues around evaluation and research.
The research team was headed up by Dr Wendy Keay-Bright and Leah McLaughlin, and they explored how artists approach evaluating their work and why participants take part in projects.
You can read their final Research Report in our Knowledge Zone.
ArtWorks Cymru also supported an Economic and Social Research Council Accelerator project in collaboration with Dr David Studdert, Research Associate at the School of Social Sciences.
This project explored how to create co-designed / co-created community projects, and was based in Powys, working with Dawns Powys Dance.
The team produced a toolkit for Co-producing Community Arts which is avaliable in our Knowledge Zone.
